Regional opportunities – recruiting now!

Are you looking for a new challenge which will offer exciting and rewarding work opportunities in a regional community?  The Murray–Darling Basin Authority (MDBA) is recruiting now in regional areas to help manage the Basin’s water resources for future generations. The Murray–Darling Basin is the largest and most complex river system in Australia.  Our economy and communities depend on a healthy basin, and the MDBA is charged with working with Basin governments to plan and integrate the management of the water resources for the Basin. It is challenging and rewarding work, and we are looking for people who live in, or want to move to, these locations to join this important reform.

We recognise that developing and maintaining strong regional links with communities is the key to our success.  That is why, by 2021, we are looking to grow our regional workforce to more than 100 employees.

We are recruiting for great candidates to join us right now in our offices in Goondiwindi, Griffith, Mildura and Murray Bridge.  We will be filling a range of ongoing (permanent) and non-ongoing (times limited contract) APS 5, APS 6, Executive Level 1 and Executive Level 2 roles.  Relocation packages are available, and we are committed to a flexible and inclusive workplace that will suit you and your individual needs.
